Based in his studio in Cambridgeshire, Matthew Blakely creates beautiful porcelain vessels and tableware with fresh, vibrant glazes. The combination of the thrown porcelain with Matthew's choice of glazes gives his work a distinctly fluid feel. Some of the pieces are decorated with simple motifs imprinted into the clay and others are given undulating edges from which the glazes seem to drip.
